For all applicants who have gone through our tenant screening process, we have used TransUnion. We have never used Equifax, not for background research. However, there is a strong change that they have customer data on all Americans with Social Security numbers. Therefore, it is highly recommended that you check and sign up or "free" credit monitoring from Equifax.
